  1. Haha…cute. :0) Germantown is starting to sound like the Emerald City, compared to Clarksville’s Kroger. Our renovations are just barely worse than yours here; let me paint you a scenario. I went into the store the other night, looking for a loaf of bread. Their regular bread section was empty. They direct me toward the middle of the store where they have a “new” bread section. However, the entire two aisles (yes, two bread aisles) are empty as well. I asked a potential stoner dude where the entire freaking bread section went, and, turns out, stoner dude wasn’t a stoner dude at all. He was just “Indiana stupid”. He didn’t offer to help me find this mysterious, elusive bread. I ventured on out to the pharmacy, because well…I like the pharmacy. Regardless, I did happen to find an old lady there who was also (wait for it…) looking for bread! She and I comforted each other momentarily, as her journey had been a long, fruitless one as well. I then proceeded to stumble from aisle to aisle, looking for anyone (ANYONE) who might take pity on me and lead me to bread. Four Kroger workers later, I was finally given bread by my (soon-to-be) daughter-in-law.

So yeah. This Kroger is starting to look pretty damn good. I could like- drive my car right INTO Kroger and save time, effort, and sanity by simply driving around (quickly) and find bread.

Not to mention they’re only open ’til midnight due to renovations. (Sigh.)

They need a decent parking lot now! You take your life in your hands every time you go there!

I have mixed feelings about their new “International” aisle. I applaud them for adding a Kosher section, but I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that it’s placed under a banner that says “Jew-y”.
